A doula’s bag holds more than objects — it carries experience and presence. Essential oils, a massage ball, a rebozo, a fan… but the most important thing she brings is attentive care.

Sometimes silence helps most; sometimes words, touch or movement. Tools aren’t magic wands — the real ‘magic’ is the connection between the mother and the flow of birth. The doula simply helps that connection stay open.
